About Cats

While I'm primarily a dog person, my wife is much more fond of cats. She holds them, cuddles them and talks to them like they're her children. She's a real cat Mom. We were sitting this one cat named Pete who couldn't get enough of her. They sat together on the couch for close to an hour while he nuzzled her face and cuddled into her. It almost became comical. She loves all kinds of cats; even the hairless variety. We have a couple of hairless cats we visit named Dippy and Alfie. They are strange, almost alien looking life forms that are weird to the touch, but She loves them just the same. Adopting a cat can really change their lives. When you go to the shelter and choose a cat or kitten you are giving them the chance of a home with food and shelter, which is just as important as giving them the attention and love they need. That is what makes adopting the right cat so important. When you go to the shelter make sure there's a real love connection between you and the kitty that you want. Make sure the cat likes you as much as you like the cat. Never get a cat that has severe injuries unless you're willing to commit to its complete and total healing. If you are, it will be worth every penny you spend. You will get all of your money back in "kitty love" currency.
